🎀 Pink October 💗⚽ This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, AYSO Region 75 stands with those facing breast cancer, celebrates survivors, honors those we’ve lost, and supports the families beside them. On the field and beyond, we’re a community that shows up for one another. Wear your pink and help us spread love, hope, and awareness. 💕 #PinkOctober #BreastCancerAwareness #AYSORegion75 #AYSO75 #StrongerTogether

🧡⚽ October is ADHD Awareness Month! At AYSO Region 75, every player deserves to feel welcome, supported, and part of the team. Coaches can help kids with ADHD enjoy soccer by making small adjustments to how we teach: ⚽ Keep instructions short. Give one step at a time, demonstrate it, and let players try. “Dribble to the cone, then stop” is easier to follow than several directions at once. 🏃 Keep players moving. Use small groups, short activities, and plenty of ball touches. Reduce time spent waiting in lines. 📋 Build a predictable routine. Explain what comes next and give a heads-up before changing activities. 👏 Praise specific efforts right away. “Great job getting back to help your teammate!” tells players exactly what they did well. 💬 Redirect calmly. Use a brief, encouraging reminder. Avoid calling a child out in front of teammates. 💧 Allow a reset. A short water break or quiet moment with appropriate supervision can help a player return ready to participate. 🤝 Partner with families. Privately ask what helps their child. Every player is different; listen, adjust, and protect their privacy. A player who loses focus may need another demonstration, a simpler direction, or encouragement. Keep expectations clear and give them opportunities to succeed. 💜💛 Let’s coach with patience, celebrate progress, and help every child love the game! #AYSO75 #Region75 #ADHDAwarenessMonth #PositiveCoaching #EveryonePlays YouthSoccer

🎀⚽ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! AYSO Region 75 stands with those facing breast cancer, celebrates survivors, honors those we’ve lost, and supports the families and caregivers beside them. 💗 Bring some pink to the pitch this October! Players can show their support with: 🩷 Pink socks—your entire team must match! 🩷 Soft hair ties and ribbons 🩷 Sweatbands 🩷 Arm sleeves Please continue to follow all player safety rules: no jewelry or hard hair accessories. Together, we can show our community that no one faces this journey alone. 🖤💛💜🖤💛 #AYSO75 #Region75 #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #PinkOctober #WearPink

⚽ What is Silent Weekend? From October 2–4, AYSO Section 11 is holding Silent Weekend. It’s a chance for players to hear their teammates, make their own decisions, and learn by playing. Participation is required for every AYSO Region 75 U8–U14 team, including EXTRA teams. Here’s what to expect: 💜 Spectators: Cheer for effort, teamwork, saves, and great plays. Please do not give instructions from the sideline or yell at players, coaches, or referees. 💛 Coaches: Give guidance before the game, at halftime, and during practice. Keep any necessary directions during the game brief and positive so players can solve problems together. ⚽ Players: Talk to your teammates, support one another, and enjoy the game! Your encouragement still matters. Let’s give the kids the space to grow. Let the kids communicate. Let the kids decide. Let the kids learn. Let the kids play! #AYSORegion75 #AYSOSilentWeekend #LetTheKidsPlay #YouthSoccer #AYSOEXTRA

💛 Our Kids Are Waiting for a Team ⚽ Every season, families sign up hoping their child will get the chance to play, make friends, learn teamwork, and be part of something special. We provide the training, support, and resources you need. What matters most is showing up. 🚨 We Need Your Help, Region 75 Family 🚨 Unfortunately, our equipment shed was broken into and several important items were stolen — including the tablet/GPS used for our Turf Tank field lining system. Because of this, we’ll need to go back to the old-school way of lining fields — by hand. 💪⚽ 👉 If your team has the first game of the day, please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes early to help paint the field lines in addition to setting up the goals and placing corner flags. *Painting can also be done during weeknight practices* We know this is an extra ask, but this is what makes our community special — everyone stepping up for the kids. And don’t worry…Volunteer hours will be earned! 🙌 A group of our amazing volunteers and board members were there until late this evening handling this very unfortunate incident. Thank you to ALL who showed up tonight — your dedication to our kids and community does not go unnoticed. We are truly proud to be part of this Region 75 family. 💛🖤⚽ Thank you all for your support, flexibility, and commitment to our players. Let’s rally together and keep the games going strong. #AYSORegion75 #CommunityStrong #VolunteerPowered #ForTheKids

In Loving Memory of Ava 🦋 It is with heavy hearts that we honor the life of Ava, a beloved member of our Region 75 family, teammate, and friend. Though her time with us was far too short, Ava’s impact will be felt for years to come. At just 14 years old, Ava embodied everything that is special about the game of soccer; joy, determination, kindness, and true sportsmanship. She brought light to the field with her smile, lifted up her teammates with encouragement, and played with a passion that inspired everyone around her. Ava was more than a player; she was a friend, a role model, and a reminder of what it means to be part of a team. Her spirit united those around her and created lasting memories that will forever be cherished. In honor of her life and the legacy she leaves behind, Region 75 proudly introduces the Ava Bonilla Sportsmanship Award. This award will recognize players who reflect the same heart, respect, and positivity that Ava showed every time she stepped onto the field. Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life. A life that, while brief, was filled with meaning, love, and impact. Ava will always be part of her team, our community, and our hearts. Join us Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30 PM at Sierra Field for a special night of remembrance as we come together to honor our fallen teammate. Let’s stand united as a community, celebrate a life that touched so many, and support one another through this time. Forever remembered. Forever loved. 💛⚽️

🚫🔊 SILENT SATURDAY is HERE! 🔊🚫 This Saturday, 4/11, Region 75 fields will be a little quieter and a lot more impactful. 💛⚽ What is Silent Saturday? It’s a special game day where only players’ voices are heard on the field. No sideline coaching, no shouting instructions, just positive encouragement like 👏 and 👍 from our spectators. Why do we do it? ✔️ Empowers players to make their own decisions ✔️ Builds confidence and communication on the field ✔️ Creates a more positive, player-centered environment What can YOU do? 🙌 Cheer, clap, and support 🤐 Let the players play 💛 Keep it positive all game long Let’s work together to make this a fun and meaningful experience for all our players! #AYSO #SilentSaturday #PlayerDevelopment #PositiveVibes #Region75Soccer ⚽💛

April is Autism Awareness Month 💙⚽ Soccer is for everyone and that means creating a space where every player feels seen, supported, and celebrated. This month, we recognize and honor the unique strengths, perspectives, and talents of athletes on the autism spectrum. On the field, differences make us stronger. Whether it’s learning a new skill, building confidence, or simply enjoying the game with teammates, every player deserves the chance to play, grow, and belong. Let’s continue to lead with patience, kindness, and inclusion, not just this month, but all season long. 💙 Together, we build a game where everyone has a place. ⚽️ Region 75 EPIC program coming soon 🧩💙 #AutismAwarenessMonth #SoccerForAll #InclusionMatters #EveryonePlays #MoreThanASport

⚽️ Big Change Coming to Youth Soccer ⚽️ Beginning with the 2026/2027 season, AYSO and other youth soccer organizations are moving to a school-year based age division system. After extensive review and collaboration, AYSO, US Youth Soccer, and US Club Soccer have aligned to create a new player formation cycle that runs from August 1 – July 31, starting with the 2026–27 membership year. 💡 Why the change? This update is designed to better align players with their school-grade peers, making teams more inclusive and helping increase overall participation. We’re excited about what this means for our players and our community! 🙌 #AYSO #YouthSoccer #PlayerDevelopment #CommunityFirst #AYSORegion75

What a moment for AYSO Region75! 💛🖤⚽️ Two of our Whittier Girls Extra teams battled their way to the FINALS at the Beach Classic Tournament in Long Beach — and it was an all-Whittier championship match! 🙌🔥 Whittier Swarm U12GX came out on top over the Jaguars U11GX, but the real win was seeing two teams from our region competing at the highest level against each other. The talent, grit, and heart on that field were unmatched. We couldn’t be prouder of these girls for representing our region with class, determination, and true sportsmanship. This is what development, dedication, and community are all about. 💫 Whittier showed up and showed out! 💙 CONGRATULATIONS SWARM 🥇 and JAGUARS 🥈 #WhittierExtra #GirlsSoccer #region75 #AllWhittierFinal #RegionPride #BuiltNotGiven

This group continues to grow stronger with every match, and this tournament was a testament to their commitment and love for the game. The future is bright for these young athletes! So proud of our U12 Boys All Star team! 💙⚽️ They finished 2nd in their pool this weekend — just narrowly missing a spot in playoffs. While it’s tough to come that close, this group showed resilience, teamwork, and heart every single game. They competed with intensity, supported one another, and left everything on the field. Growth was evident, confidence is building, and this is only the beginning. 🌟 The season ahead is looking bright, and if this tournament is any indication, big things are coming for this squad.
